Blood Glamor

Hi guys, as I promised, today I will speak of the samba schools that I liked the most in the parades of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. I'll start with Sao Paulo, which was two schools "Império de Casa Verde" and "Vai-Vai". But one of them I already talked yesterday, so today I will didicar me to speak only of "Vai-Vai". And in Rio de Janeiro, that was more than two schools were 3 schools actually 5 but thought it would be a lot then, the "Mangueira" I said yesterday, and there were four, but I chose only 3. The chosen were "Grande Rio "" Beija-Flor "and" Portela ".
Let's talk of the school of São Paulo first. I found it very beautiful the parades of all escolas.Mas as I said I'll talk about what I liked most, yesterday I spoke of one who was the winner. Today I'll talk about the other, and that might not have won, but it was really divine. The "Vai-Vai" it was a real glamor on the catwalk of Samba. His samba was a tribute to France, was pretty much the parade and the samba had a few words in French, the costumes were very well made, had wings depicting many details of France, the battery was dressed as Napoleon and divided into 3 colors if the top view formed the flag of France. I do not even know what to say of the allegorical cars, in all the parades, the cars of "Vai-Vai" were the most detailed, I felt a French while watching the parade. "Mon amour, The voice of the people are who you say, I am root race, There are so many Carnivals Je Suis Vai-Vai, Legends of the revolution, Luizes to Napoleon, Liberty Equality Fraternity".
Now I will speak of the schools that I liked most of Rio de Janeiro. As I said there are several schools, indeed all shone, but in my eyes my favorite are the ones I will speak now. For starters let's talk about my samba school that die within my heart. This school was the first I saw a show in my life. So why quite like it. The school is nothing more than the "Great River". The school plot samba this year was over the city of "Saints", a town in the state of São Paulo and has a very important harbor, where is the birthplace of the great wonders but two of these wonders you must know very well that is Pele and Neymar, they started the team of Santos and then were shining for the rest of the world. The school can be summed up in one word gold, because she was beautiful, samba gets inside your head and makes you want to dance. The wings talk about various subjects, and all beautifully portrayed. And the school has helped to show the Brazilian wonderful cities that possesses. "Strong steps Grande Rio, It's pure emotion! Santos won my heart, I landed in the port of happiness, How much beauty to enjoy this city".
Now let's take a trip. We continue talking about the schools of Rio de Janeiro, but this year the Portela chose as the theme for its samba, exactly, travel, and speaks from the mythological as the Odyssey, or when Moses opened the Red Sea in the middle, talks about Egypt and even time travel and space travel. It was all so beautiful, I thought until Portela had a great chance to win. During the show I felt on a trip, the most beautiful of travel. So far, I can not describe the show, it was very beautiful, and it left me speechless. But as I have to tell you, I would say that the Portela is a queen, and that during the shows she presents us with so much beauty, a real show, a trip through the beauty. "I am the eagle, tell me who you want, but it's better to respect, I am Portela, this trip, another star, which will shine in the pavilion of Madureira, Flying in poetry wings, Tear the roof of mythology, and that Odyssey travel, my eyes will guide you on the journey, and in my endless destination".
Now let's close with pure gold. The last school I will talk about is the "Beija Flor", this school is a legend, every show she surprises more, this year I was sure she would win, but she did not win, but in my heart, it is sovereign . Glamorous, Beija-Flor is always full of pleasant surprises. This year she talked about the Marques de Sapucai, a great noble in the history of Brazil, he revolutionized, it is one of our greatest symbols of greatness. He like many others deserve a tribute like that. Beija Flor beyond amazed at the theme, had a parade full of beauty, beautiful allegorical cars and well detailed, impeccable costumes, it seemed that everything was done perfectly and with an explosion of refinement, really seemed to royalty. I thrilled with samba, was certainly one of the nicest I've heard in my entire life. "I am Beija Flor, in joy or in pain, The goddess of the walkway is she! First in the history of the Marquis, That in Sapucai is sovereign, Nilopolitana of fact, Echoes a resistance clamor, In the distance he heard the voice of independence, By Brazil, happiness reigns, Already dawned freedom".
Do not forget to translate the blog to your language to get the reading easier. And there on my own social networks, and can follow me, I follow back. And I wanted to thank a great friend who helped me choose the subjects, and saw the shows with me.

  2. Great! Wonderful was the way you tried to explain and narrate this delicious and wonderful spectacle of images and sounds. Brazilians really are serious about Carnival. Here we had news of the "Go-Go!" lol but I will search and find to show to family and friends. I've been there in Rio de Janeiro during Carnival 2000, I saw the wonderful Portela (and knew she has 21 championships, the greatest champion, but do not get to 30 years!) My fans was for her. It is good to know who is the hero of Brazil that was "Marques de Sapucai," I only knew the D. Pedro I, Pedro II and Princess Isabel. Your blog filled me with knowledge. And I tell you more: if you come to France, my doors are open.
